Seven Modern Wonders of the World

  6. Delta Works (The Netherlands)
  7. Panama Canal (Panama)
I've seen only one of these, being the Golden Gate Bridge in Cali so I have a lot of work to do! I would really like to see the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Versailles in France, Galapagos, or the valley of the kings. Here is the Top 100 of places to see. What places do you want or have you seen? How about a survey? Top seven places you want to see before you die?

My Seven:
1. Eiffel Tower in Paris
2. Rome (Colosseum)
3. Stonehenge
4. Pompeii?
5. Sphinx
6. The Vatican (Sistine Chapel)
7. Maybe the Rio de Janeiro with the Christo Statue in Brazil

You have the coolest posts.  I don't have the time right now to make a top 7 (and it would be so hard to narrow it down).  But I've been trying to figure out (admittedly not very hard) what the various "seven wonders" were (and I didn't even realize there was a "medieval" list).  It's helpful to have them all summed up.

Are you majoring in anthro?

I find it desturbing that over half the places on the Medieval list aren't Medieval.... Did you notice that?

1) Bora Bora

2) Taj Mahal

3) Great Wall of China

4) Colosseum (of Rome)

5) Bagan

6) Golden Pavilion

7) Machu Picchu

3) Scotland
4) Ireland
5) the Grand Canyon
6) NYC
7) Florida

Yea, I know my list is kind of boring. But so far I've only been to places in Washington, Oregon and California. At least I've seen the Golden Gate Bridge! I took a lot of pictures of it. :)
